Seyed Aminuddin Jabriel tomb is in the village of Kalkhoran (Kaharlan), Ardabil. This collection consists of various architectural and decorative arrays such as: tiling, layering, painting, etc., wooden works of doors, windows, pulpit and coffin, and other works of art. One of the doors of this collection is kept in the shrine of Sheikh Safiuddin Ardabili. Also, Shah Ismail's tomb box has been executed with various designs and various techniques such as under-lacquer painting, mesh work, inlay work, jovak work, etc. In this research, it is tried to study the motifs and execution methods of these two works in a comparative way. The aim of the article is a comparative study of wood motifs and techniques used on these works. The research question is, what are the similarities between the motifs on the door and the tomb box in terms of design and technique, and where are the origins of these similarities? The research method is descriptive-analytical, which is discussed and investigated by analyzing historical works. Data collection is done by documentary and field method. The findings show that these two works must have been done by a group of artists and also in a workshop. The roles and implementation methods in them follow the same principles. However, there are differences between them. Lacquer painting can be seen on all the instruments on the door of Sheikh Jabriel. But on the grave chest, it is in the upper part and the back part of the chest. Most of the inlaid motifs, inlaid grids, inlays and inlays inside various tools have been removed on the door, and a few of these techniques have remained, but very few of the motifs on the coffin have been lost, and it can be said that this coffin has remained intact. Inlay technique as well as Inlay and Jovak are seen on this chest more than other techniques. The existing inscriptions on the works are in Tholut script, but on the door, Nastaliq script is also used.
