Negareh

Negareh quarterly has been selected and announced the “top publication” in the category of art and architecture in the 2020 “21st Festival of Honoring the Distinguished Researchers and Technologists of the Country” by Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.

In accordance with the bylaw of evaluation of scientific credit of publications of Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, Negareh scientific publication was ranked with an “A” grade amongst the publications in the field of art and architecture since the early 2019, and has an impact factor (If) in the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC).

Negareh scholarly publication issues papers in Persian with extended English abstracts in all fields related to visual arts (of ancient Iran, contemporary and Islamic Iran) in order to provide an appropriate context for publication of the most recent scholarly achievements of the country’s researchers. This journal is published as a quarterly and its papers are distributed online following the processes of peer-review and approval.

Negareh has been indexed in the Islamic World Science Citation Center database (ISC) with an impact factor. (More information about indexing databases)

The respected authors are hereby informed that prior to submission of papers to Negareh publication, they are required to submit them to the plagiarism checker website, offered by Iranian Research Institute for Information Science and Technology (IranDoc), at (http://tik.irandoc.ac.ir), and upload the result along with paper and other attachments (forms 1-3) to the publication’s website only if the similarity rate is less than 20 percent. Papers lacking IranDoc’s report will not be reviewed.

The reviewing process takes between 3 to 6 months from the date of the receipt of the article.

Copyright of published articles is retained by the authors.

 Negareh is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the users and/or institutions. 

At the end of the peer-review process and the final acceptance, papers will be listed on the "Articles in Press" section of the website, and subsequently will be published full text online according to the schedule. Papers may be deposited in an institutional or other repository of the author's choice without embargo at this stage.

Please note that all authors are required to provide their ORCID iD. Thus, it is essential to register on the ORCID website and include the identifier in author profile page in order to register with the journal's website.
